24th Annual Smoky Hill Education Foundation Charity Golf Tournament
Dear Friend of Education:
We are taking a mulligan!
After needing to cancel last year’s 24th annual Smoky Hill Education Foundation Scramble for Schools Golf Tournament because of COVID-19, we’re holding a “do over” on June 1, 2021. This charity event raises funds in support of the foundation’s yearly projects and to enhance educational endeavors throughout the state of Kansas. With offices in Salina and Hays, we work hand-in-hand with more than 50 school districts across Central, North Central, and Western Kansas.
The Scramble for Schools golf tournament has grown to be one of the largest tournaments in Salina and helps to fund important programs and initiatives for both teachers and students in your community! With its original purpose still in mind, we are asking you to help education in the region through the 2021 fundraiser. There are several ways you can contribute to the success of this tournament:

To contribute or enter a team for the tournament, simply fill out the information on the enclosed flyer and send it to Cassie Edgerton at cedgerton@smokyhill.org. Hole sponsors will have their names posted on signs at designated holes. Prizes can be submitted with a corresponding business card that will be attached to the prize. Past prize donations have included gift certificates, T-shirts, sporting equipment, mugs, ball caps, and passes to upcoming community events. All prize donations will be accepted. The deadline for hole sponsorships and prize donations is Friday, May 7.
Many of our sponsors from last year allowed us to keep their contributions even though the event was canceled, and we appreciate that generosity. If you would like to contribute again for this tournament in addition to what you did last year, that would be great! We also know that this last year has been challenging on many levels. So, if you are not able to sponsor a hole or provide a prize as you did in previous years, we understand and are looking forward to better times ahead with you.
